The award recognizes lifetime contributions in the field of race-ethnic stroke disparities or related disciplines.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Kapral is a scientist in the ICES <a href=\"\/research-programs\/cardiovascular\/\">Cardiovascular Research Program<\/a>. Her research interests include cardiovascular disorders, health services research and women&apos;s health.
