  • Canadian Melanoma Conference Top Oral Abstract Research Excellence Award

    2016: Awarded to Dr. Timothy Hanna.

  • Platinum AVA Digital Award

    2016: Awarded to Dr. Simron Singh as part of the Cancer Care Ontario team in the white board category for their video on person-centered care guidelines. The AVA Awards competition is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals (AMCP).

  • Thomson Reuters’ list of “World’s Most Influential Scientific Minds 2015”

    2016: Dr. Jeremy Grimshaw was selected by Thomson Reuters as one the "World’s Most Influential Scientific Minds 2015." This annual list names researchers whose published work is among the most-cited within the global scientific community, according to data analyzed by Thomson Reuters.

  • New Investigator in Population Health and Health System Innovation Award

    2016 – 2019: Dr. Peter Tanuseputro is the recipient of this $300,000 salary support award offered jointly by the Bruyere Research Institute and the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute.

    2016: Awarded to Dr. Hsien Seow for palliative care, cancer and health system innovation.
