    2014: Awarded to Dr. Steven Hawken

  • Robert E. Beamish Award

    2014: Awarded to Dr. Doug Lee by the Canadian Cardiovascular Society. This honour is given to the lead author of a research article published in The Canadian Journal of Cardiology within the past three years that is judged to have the greatest potential impact in cardiovascular medicine.

  • CIHR Applied Public Health Chair

    2014: Awarded to Dr. Janet Smylie for "Clearing the Pathways to Health Equity: CIHR Applied Public Health Chair in Indigenous Health Information and Knowledge Systems".

  • CIHR New Investigator Salary Award

    2014 - 2019: Awarded to Dr. Simone Dahrouge for her research on optimizing the performance of our primary health care system.

    2014: Dr. Gillian Hawker named 2014 Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences. Election to fellowship in the Academy is considered one of the highest honours in the Canadian health sciences community.

    2014: Awarded to Dr. Janet Raboud by the Ontario HIV Treatment Network ($650,000; 2014-2019).

  • Arthritis Society Postdoctoral Award

    2014: Awarded to Dr. Jessica Widdifield for her exploration into the causes and contributors of early death in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.

  • CIHR New Investigator Award

    2014: Dr. Noah Ivers awarded 5 years of salary support as recipient of CIHR New Investigator Award in community-based primary health care.
