This report takes a comprehensive look at cancers in First Nations people in Ontario from 1991 to 2010. It provides an overview of the risk factors and symptoms for each cancer type and compares cancer rates between First Nations people and other people in Ontario. The report’s calls to action support the development of effective health policies and programs to help reduce the burden of cancer and chronic disease in First Nations people.
