Congratulations to ICES scientist emeritus Andreas Laupacis on being named as an Officer of the Order of Canada. Dr. Laupacis was recognized for his contributions to the field of medicine and to healthcare initiatives in Canada and internationally. He is one of 99 new appointments announced on December 29, 2022.
Dr. Laupacis led ICES as president and CEO from 2000 to 2006. His research interests include health policy and reform, health services research and knowledge translation.
