ICES scientist Ross Upshur elected Hastings Fellow

Congratulations to ICES senior adjunct scientist Dr. Ross Upshur, who has been elected one of 18 Hastings Center Fellows. Hastings Fellows are individuals of outstanding accomplishment whose work has informed scholarship and public understanding of complex ethical issues in health, healthcare, life sciences research, and the environment.

Dr. Upshur is clinical public health division head at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto, scientific director of Bridgepoint Active Healthcare and Sinai Health System, and the assistant director of the Lunenfeld Tanenbaum Research Institute. His research focus at ICES includes chronic diseases and conditions, primary care, and medical ethics.
