ICES scientist Dr. Donald Redelmeier and co-authors win the Canadian Medical Association Journal’s 2016 Bruce Squires Award

Congratulations to ICES scientist Dr. Donald Redelmeier and co-authors Deva Thiruchelvam, Sharon C. May, and Dr. Jon F. Barrett who were chosen as the winners of the Bruce Squires Award for their article “Pregnancy and the risk of a traffic crash” published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal (CMAJ).

The Bruce Squires Award recognizes the authors of research articles that demonstrate methodological rigour and have the potential to impact the practice of medicine in a positive way. This annual award honors Editor Emeritus Dr. Bruce Squires, who was CMAJ’s editor-in chief for seven years.
