ICES adjunct scientist Dr. Ross Upshur receives College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) 2015 Family Medicine Researcher of the Year Award

Congratulations to ICES adjunct scientist Ross Upshur on receiving The College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) 2015 Family Medicine Researcher of the Year Award. Dr. Upshur's research focuses on the intersection of primary care and public health, particularly with respect to the interrelationship between ethics and evidence.

The award is designed to honour a family medicine researcher and member of the CFPC who has been a pivotal force in the definition, development, and dissemination of concepts central to the discipline of family medicine.

Dr. Upshur received the award on November 12, 2015 at the CFPC's Family Medicine Forum in Toronto.
