Janet Raboud, PhD, is a biostatistician and a professor in the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto. She is an affiliate scientist at the Toronto General Research Institute and an adjunct scientist at ICES. She is the recipient of a Career Scientist Award from the Ontario HIV Treatment Network and the OHTN Chair in Biostatistics. Her research focuses on issues related to HIV cohort studies with particular interest in longitudinal data analysis, biases associated with nonrandomly missing data and survival analysis methodology. Dr. Raboud has been involved in collaborative HIV clinical research for more than 20 years and has numerous ongoing collaborations, including those through the OHTN Cohort Study; the Canadian Observational Cohort Collaboration, a CIHR funded emerging team grant; VALIDATE, an international clinical trial; and a CIHR-funded Canadian study of the effectiveness of the HPV vaccine among HIV-positive girls and women.
