Jason Pole

Senior Adjunct Scientist (Full Status) ICES Central Cancer Research Program

Biography

Jason Pole is a scientist with the Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario, an associate professor in the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto, and an adjunct scientist with the SickKids Research Institute in Toronto. He has a master’s degree in epidemiology from Queen’s University in Kingston and a PhD in epidemiology from the University of Toronto. His research involves the use of administrative data and complex survey instruments.

Coupled with his work in pediatric oncology, Dr. Pole actively participates in various research projects in the area of child and adolescent health. From 2003-2007, he served as a board member for the Canadian Society for Epidemiology and Biostatistics.
