Dr. Mozessohn obtained his medical degree from McGill University. He then completed residency programs in internal medicine and hematology at the University of Toronto. He subsequently completed a clinical fellowship in myelodysplastic syndromes and lymphoma at the Sunnybrook Odette Cancer Centre. During which time, he completed the Veterans Affairs Quality Scholars Program. He also completed a Master of Public Health at the T.H. Chan School of Public Health at Harvard University. Dr. Mozessohn is currently a clinical hematologist at the Odette Cancer Centre, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. He is also an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Toronto and a member of the Committee on Economic Analysis at the National Cancer Institute of Canada Clinical Trials Group and the Drug Advisory Committee at Ontario Health-Cancer Care Ontario. His research focuses on health services and outcomes-based research in hematologic cancers, including the impact of patient-related factors on treatment outcomes.
