Raed Joundi

Biography

Raed Joundi is a stroke neurologist at Hamilton Health Sciences, assistant professor at McMaster University and investigator at the Population Health Research Institute. His main interests are in post-stroke outcomes including quality of life, cognitive impairment, and dementia. He completed his neurology residency at the University of Toronto and stroke fellowship at the University of Calgary with an MSc in clinical epidemiology, supported by a CIHR Fellowship grant. He has published works in Stroke and Neurology from the Ontario Stroke Registry and linked administrative databases under the mentorship of Moira Kapral. He is currently using ICES data to define the incidence and determinants of post-stroke dementia in Ontario (INTREPID).
