Dev Chopra

Dev ChopraDev Chopra brings to the ICES board extensive senior leadership experience across multiple organizations in the broader public sector.

Over a 45-year career, Dev has held transformative roles in health care delivery, strategic planning, finance, human resources, information technology and real estate development. Over this period, Dev has held responsibilities as varied as EVP, Clinical Programs and EVP, Corporate Services at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health; Chief Administrative Officer at the Temerty Faculty of Medicine at University of Toronto; Vice President, Finance at Ontario Power Generation; and Vice President, Administration and CFO at Humber College.

Dev has served on the boards of a number of organizations. Five of these―the Institute for Work and Health, Mackenzie Health, Damona Pharmaceutical, Assurex Health, and the Liberty Village Family Health Team―have provided him with varied perspectives on the critical need for investment in health research.

Dev has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Jabalpur Engineering College and an MBA from McGill University. He attended Harvard University’s executive development program and holds an ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
