Accessibility

ICES places a high priority on meeting the needs of individuals with disabilities. Our accessibility policies are available below.


Policies

  1. Customer Service Policy — ICES is committed to providing its goods and services in a way that respects the dignity and independence of persons with disabilities. We are also committed to giving persons with disabilities the same opportunity to access our goods (eg., reports we produce) and services (eg., analytic work we provide) and allowing them to benefit from the same services, in the same place and in a similar way as other customers.
  2. Integrated Accessibility Standards — ICES is committed to treating all individuals in a way that allows them to maintain their dignity and independence. The organization believes in integration and equal opportunity. We are committed to meeting the needs of persons with disabilities in a timely manner, and will do so by preventing and removing barriers to accessibility in compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.

Web Accessibility

ICES works to ensure that its web content is accessible for a wide range of visitiors. As guidelines, we use the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Web Accessibility Initiative and the Government of Ontario’s guidelines. We believe that our website is in compliance, however, if you find something that you cannot access, please contact communications@ices.on.ca with a link to the item and details of the situation.

Please also note that we do have some links to third party content and we cannot control the accessibility of such content.
