Hypertension prevalence rates in Ontario, 2006/07 to 2011/12

A validated algorithm will be used to calculate prevalence rates for hypertension, a high-impact, high-prevalence (HIHP) chronic condition. This will complement prevalence information currently available on the ICES inTool for other HIHP chronic conditions, specifically diabetes and asthma. It will also provide updated information on hypertension not only at the provincial level but at the LHIN, sub-LHIN, public health unit, census division, and census subdivision level where possible. Exhibits will be available in PowerPoint slides and via the ICES inTool.
