Zoonotic transmission from pets
Over half of Canadian households own a cat or a dog; however, many infectious agents are found in animal feces. This article reviews the latest information on the health risks related to the transmission of zoonoses from pets to humans via feces.

Last year in Canada, there were 14,000 new cases of cervical cancer resulting in nearly 400 deaths.
