Dr. Goel joined ICES in 1993 and is currently an Adjunct Scientist. He is Vice-President and Provost of the University of Toronto and a Professor in the Department of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation and the Department of Public Health Sciences.He is an Associate Scientist with the Program in E-Health Innovation at the University Health Network.He is actively involved in a number of working groups, peer-review journal committees, and other health care related professional organizations. Dr. Goel was the Scientific Program Leader of the Evidence Applications Linkages Network (HEALNet), a national network of centres of excellence.He is a member of the Advisory Board of the Institute for Health Services and Policy Research of the Canadian Institutes for Health Research.
