Dr. Redelmeier joined ICES in 1993 as a Senior Scientist. His primary appointment is as a full professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Toronto. Dr. Redelmeier has a cross-appointment in the Department of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto and is the Director of the Clinical Epidemiology & Health Services Research Program (CE) at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. He also holds the De Souza Chair in Trauma Research of the University of Toronto. Dr Redelmeier is actively involved in a number of working groups, peer-review journal committees and other health care related professional organizations.
