Congratulations to ICES adjunct scientist Dr. Sacha Bhatia, who has been selected as a co-recipient of the William Goldie Prize and Travel Award for Quality and Innovation from the Department of Medicine at the University of Toronto. This annual award recognizes a member of the Department of Medicine within ten years of appointment who has made a substantial contribution to the advancement of knowledge in internal medicine. The award will be presented at the Department of Medicine’s Annual Day celebration on June 9, 2017.
Dr. Bhatia’s research focus at ICES includes cardiovascular disorders and health policy/reform. He is also a cardiologist at Women’s College Hospital and University Health Network, and the director of the Institute for Health System Solutions & Virtual Care at Women’s College Hospital.
