ICES scientist Dr. Laura Rosella recipient of Brian MacMahon Early Career Epidemiologist Award

Please join us in congratulating ICES adjunct scientist Dr. Laura Rosella, who received the Brian MacMahon Early Career Epidemiologist Award from the Society for Epidemiologic Research (SER). This annual award acknowledges early career epidemiologists who have made significant contributions to epidemiology through research, teaching, mentoring or service. The award will be presented at SER’s annual meeting to be held June 20-23 in Seattle.

Dr. Rosella is the site director at ICES UofT, and her research focus at ICES includes health and wellness promotion, endocrine and metabolic disorders, evidence-based medicine and health services research. She is also a scientist at Public Health Ontario and an assistant professor at the University of Toronto’s Dalla Lana School of Public Health.
