Geoffrey Nguyen, MD, PhD, FRCPC, is associated with the Division of Gastroenterology at Mount Sinai Hospital. He is an associate professor in the Department of Medicine and the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto, and is adjunct faculty at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore.
Dr. Nguyen completed his undergraduate degree at Harvard University and medical school and postgraduate training at Johns Hopkins. He subsequently completed a clinical and research fellowship with a focus on inflammatory bowel disease at Johns Hopkins, where he concurrently completed a PhD in clinical investigation at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
Dr. Nguyen has been a recipient of the American Gastroenterological Association's Research Scholar Award and consecutive New Investigator Awards from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research.
